Central Hotel Dublin
Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is great, it is within walking distance of many attractions, but it is quite noisy late at night because of the neighborhood bars.

Fair 4.0
Central but noisy!
The positives; the Library Bar is great, quiet and a favourite of the locals; surprisingly the towels, large and soft! The negatives (and this is subjective!); the hotel is very central, walking distance to all of old Dublin which is great during the day for sightseeing however...once the pubs and bars started to rock it went on til 4:30 in the morning til the last of the horns, sirens and revelry quietened down. Granted we stayed on a Friday and Saturday night but the hotel is old, therefore old windows so the noise on the street is in your room. So if you are in Dublin to party it’s a great locale, if you are there to sightsee and retire at midnight, not so much! 2 star at best.

Perfect Location
The central was a perfect location for our stay in Dublin. Aside from cabs to and from the airport (20min) we were a walk to everything we wanted to see and do. Our room was upgraded and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. However, the room while it was spacious was a bit dated (quaint, if that’s your style, it’s a mixed review because it is a historic hotel) the bed was not comfortable and it was noisy some nights; so if you’re from North America, don’t expect your standard double pane windows because you will hear everything on the street. In hotel breakfast was great, well-priced and convenient

Great location
Perfect location. Very busy to drive if you aren’t used to the area. Everything is very close. Walking or a short cab. Very loud if you don’t stay out all night at the pubs- we were there on the weekend so it was probably a little louder than usual.
