Location was great for a show at So-Fi. Not close enough to walk necessarily, but only like a 7 minute drive. Location was also great for convenience to restaurants, morning coffee, and anything else you might need while in sunny SoCal. Comfortable clean rooms, and ample parking.

Mixed bag
The place was clean but there were some lapses in renovation. Visible gaps between the entry door and doorframe, no place to hang a towel by the sink. Negligible counter space by the sink. I was in one room of rooms that adjoin, but I could easily hear the TV, squeaky bed, and people talking next door. However, the staff was very nice during check in, and accommodating for a late checkout. I think next time I would pay more for a nicer place.

A pleasant surprise
Great value, clean rooms, pleasant staff, comfortable beds (on the soft side), safe neighborhood, plenty of parking and a Starbucks right next door! Folks, it is a 2.5 star hotel. Not the Ritz. Yes, the vending machines were empty, yes, the pillows and towels are lame/old/thin and there are no extras like shampoo or conditioner but again, it is a cheap place to stay. Close to LAX and event venues. Wouldn’t recommend for a vacation but would recommend for an inexpensive clean place to sleep when you are out and about all day. Oh, and ask for the side of the building facing Hawthorne…then you don’t have to put up with the annoying dog barking in someone’s backyard below your window. You are welcome.

Not worth it
When we arrived the front desk person seemed uninterested in being there, not a welcoming demeanor at all, she was not rude what so ever, just ver monotone, wlin all fairness could be her personality. We got to our room, only 1 key card worked, got a replacement but needed to do so multiple times throughout our stay because it kept deactivating, when we got into the room we noticed the tv was on so we were going to change the chanel to something more family friendly., couldnt find the remote ao we went downstairs to ask for one (this is 15 mins after checking in) the same yound lady asked us, well what did you do with the remote, we simply said that we just checked in and noticed no remote, she did give us one so we went back to the room to figure iut, no batteries were in it, went back down stairs , she gave us some, got to the room and of course they were the wrong size batteries, had to go down again to swap them out. Our room had 2 queen beds and a fold out couch, we folded out the couch to get it ready for my daughter and noticed, the sheet was not changed, it had black stuff on it and what looks to be like poop stains, it was disgusting. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this motel again.
