we were put in room 105 next to the mechanical room. A deafening constant noise was so bothersome that we asked to be moved. They didn't do it although they have vacant rooms. They used the cliche excuse the manager has to approve it but the manager is nowhere to be found.

Does what it says on the tin
Hotell overall is mostly clean but dated and fairly run down. The hallway had a lot of water stains. The rooms aren't quite as nice as the pictures; our room had harsh white uncomfortable lighting even though we saw through a window someone else had warm lighting. The bathroom was pretty big, and the bed was comfortable (the mattress was firm). I didn't feel hugely comfortable being on the ground floor as the windows looked straight out into the small car park and the main road but we had zero issues. The hotel was very quiet at night which was nice - the only thing I heard was a random bang in the night from above us. A/C worked great and there was a thick blanket in the drawer under the TV. The microwave and mini fridge worked fine. The side table drawer obviously hadn't been cleaned as it contained trash and candy which was a bit disappointing, and the curtains were really stained. The room was a bit rough and had some peeled paint/wallpaper and scuffed bits but again it was clean and did its purpose. The man at the front desk was very nice and fixed our key for us when it didn't work upon entering. Breakfast was fair: the apple juice dispenser only released water, the coffee wasn't great and the cereals and the tables were messy, but this is generally expected for a hotel of the price range.
