Old and overpriced
I was placed in a basement room. There was no Air Con and the room was very small. Fixtures weren't properly secured, such as light switches. The whole room had a rushed job feel about it. Carpets weren't secured either, wallpaper coming up. The bathroom again was tiny, the shower reminded me of the old locker showers at my secondary school. There was also an odd smell in the bathroom. One pet peeve I did have was for the lights, the TV doesn't turn off via the remote, you have to get up and turn it off using the button. Very much a first world problem. The telephone also gives off a bright light. I ended up covering it in my duvet (as I didn't need one due to the room being 24 degrees). To top it off, it cost over £140 for one night. There are several other hotels in the immediate area which are nicer and cheaper.

the photos are deceiving..!
This hotel is worst Ive stayed at in London.. in terms of quality and amenities. The hotel decor is dated. the carpets in common areas and in rooms are dirty and stained. The twin rooms we stayed in were small and cramped with no room to move around or store/hang belongings, cases etc. the bathrooms are tiny. The on line photos are very deceiving.. beware..! the hotel bar is abysmal.. small and poorly stocked. the breakfast/dining area is in the basement and uninviting in terms of the room and the quality of food items. THe location adjacent Oxford St area is very good if this is where you need to be... but that is the only positive our family of four persons can give. We would not recommend this hotel. There are better value options ... which we will choose for future trips to London. very disappointed and felt cheated in terms of the marketing photos and description of this hotel.

I don’t recommend this hotel
I don’t recommend this place. First, when we arrived the lift was not working, we had to go upstairs with your luggage. Second, the shower was terrible, there was no pressure. In my room there was no air-conditioning, I don’t know if there is in the others rooms (we stayed in room 405). The television not worked.

Exceptional 10.0
Room was small but clean, tidy and comfortable and within a stones throw of Oxford Street. Would definitely recommend for a short stay or stop over in the big smoke
