Great hotel for seeing sites in Rome.
Convenient location walkable to main sites. Busy area, can be a bit noisy.

A great experience
The best part of our stay at Hotel Amalfi was the staff. Checking in was easy and pleasant. Francesco was just amazing with helping us find the best places to shop for what we needed. The ladies (I wish I knew their names) were extremely kind and showed great affection for our 4 year old boy. No matter what time of the day it was, there was a smiling face behind the front desk. We will definitely be staying there again in the future.

Lovely helpful staff
The location of Hotel Amalfi is great, close enough to walk to most of the historical sites. Nearby there are supermarkets, restaurants, shops and the beautiful Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore, just a minute away. The staff at this hotel are the nicest, most personable and helpful group of people I've ever encountered. I've stayed at over 200 different hotels around much of Europe and the Amalfi staff are Number 1 on my list! I had the most contact with Francesco, a lovely friendly young man who went out of his way to help make my nine day stay very pleasant. The hotel is lucky to have someone like him working for them. The others are very nice too. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this comfortable, well located little hotel in Rome. It felt like home while I was there.

Fair 4.0
hotel was clean, staff was friendly. beds and pillows were horribly uncomfortable. Bathrooms were also below expectations, even for Europe. Breakfast was OK for a quick croissant but not much more.
