Exceptional 10.0
Old World Charm
The hotel is in a wonderful area of London, an area of restaurants and shops for various tastes. It is a block from The British Museum and a few blocks from an Underground station. It is an elegant hotel with impeccable service and old world charm. The room was well equipped and very comfortable. The interior was quiet, though the hotel is on a busy street, and our room faced the street. I needed to use ear plugs at night. Next time we will get a room facing the other way. Also, no elevator, and we were on the third floor. Even with these caveats, we loved this hotel.

A wonderful hotel!
Traveling for work. The staff was super attentive and made the entire stay even better. They were professional and went the extra mile to make sure that me and my team were always taken care of. The rooms were quaint and had everything that we needed. The location was great and was close to where we needed to be and also easy to get to other areas and the breakfast was great and the bar was awesome. I stayed in London an extra night to see the sights, etc. and loved the hotel so much that I decided to book my free day/night there!

The Academy
The hotel was lovely, in a great location. Staff were fee and very helpful. The hot beverages in the room could have just done with a couple of sachets of coffee rather than having to use the coffee maker and maybe some hot chocolate. Otherwise all good.

Very Good 8.0
Exceptionally clean. Staff gave excellent service & were also extremely welcoming &helpful. Breakfast was one of the best ....everything fresh, lovely bread beautifully presented. Stairs could be difficult for the less mobile . Pity the decor is so drab. Nothing to ‘lift’ the grungy-coloured paintwork, dull carpets & settees. A little colour from e.g.cusions, pictures etc.would transform it.
