It was very pleasant indeed. The Savoy has a lot of history and they preserved that ambience. The service is exceptional and the amenities in the room are attentive. Will come back again for sure.

5 star plus hotel
The best and most amazing hotel I have ever stayed in. All of the staff are very friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble. All of the services are first class. The afternoon tea is out of this world and must if you are staying there. The room was stunning and immaculate with a turn down service everyday. Valet parking service was exceptional and easy to use.

Welcoming and posh
Tea at the Savoy was a treat and the concierge got us tickets that were impossible to acquire - which made our time in London special. It was a wonderful welcoming hotel and a great location for a family.

Perfection on the Thames
What makes the Savoy exceptional is the service. The room was okay, but nothing special for an upper echelon property. The only problem with the room was that the shower was accessible only over the tub wall without any grab bars within reach. I ended up showering in the gym locker room with an easily entered shower. The staff was amazing, entertaining all of my requests immediately. For instance, I asked where the closest post office was, and they said to just bring whatever I had that needed mailing and they'd cover it. And breakfast! Opt for including breakfast with your room: it was all a la carte plus you could get anything else within reason off the menu. I was so starved for greens midway through the trip and asked for a salad instead of the high-carb offerings. And what a gorgeous salad it was. Plus freshly squeezed tomato juice, multiples on the cacpicinos and lattes, and beautiful breads. A treat and the river view is extraordinary. A great hotel albeit pricey, but I knew that going in.
