    This was our second stay here and the staff is great and so helpful BUT the condition of the hotel has greatly deteriorated. It is a good location but very noisy at night to sleep. Curtains in our room were torn and off the hooks, furniture was soiled and old. Wear and tear really showing. Certainly not a 5 star hotel.

    SHOCKING condition - this hotel is NOT a 5 star

    I was so excited to stay in a 5 star hotel in a swank area of Paris. So you can imagine when my driver pulled up to your hotel, I was horrified to see the plywood covering the revolving door to the hotel. I thought - this must be a mistake. This is not my hotel.... but alarmingly, it was. Then I thought, this must have just happened today- the broken glass, to which your front office staff told me it happened months ago. Traveling alone as a woman, I can honestly say I felt unsafe in your hotel. My friends who live in Paris - and picked me up at the hotel - were worried about me. They could not believe I was staying under these conditions. It didn’t end there, unfortunately. My room was totally unrecognizable from the pictures on the website. To call this false advertising is an understatement. I was, quite frankly, angry at how much I was misled. I inquired with your staff, and said “this is not a 5 star hotel” as advertised to which they apologized and said “we are sorry madam.” I checked the designation again and also duly noted the affiliation with Preferred Hotels. As I formerly conducted inspections on SLH properties, I know the standard of your hotel is completely unacceptable. I would further note the toilet paper holder fell off the wall, my outlet to charge my phone didn’t work, and the shower was broken
