If you are cruising out of Seattle Find Another Ho

Plus: ckeck in service was excellent. Con: extremely overpriced for the experience and amenities! Marble bathroom and heavy doors apparently account for the cost. One lounge chair and fouton, but the desk chIr was on rollers but was fixed height. Had to search for a coffee maker and lift it out onto the table to use. No breakfast unless you pay for Elite status! Limited but very pricey food - Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and a Hot Pot place. Fortunately a NYC Deli offered an assortment of breakfast, lunch and dinner hour sandwiches. The pool was in another location a block away and may have had an additional charge. I know from experience there are better and less expensive hotels closer to the waterfront. Do not recommend this Grand Hyatt!

Ridiculous extra charge

I booked two identical king-size bedrooms at the same rate, each designed to sleep three people, but we only had two people in each room. However, I was charged an extra $75 guest fee for one of the rooms. When I contacted them, they claimed that room was designed for only one person. How is that possible?

Nice hotel, be prepared for expensive parking

The Grand Hyatt is a very nice hotel. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Several eating options are available on site, which was great. (It is hard to beat the quality of steak at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse!) I knew when booking this room it would be expensive, and that parking was not included. I was not, however, anticipating parking to be $50 for every 12 hours! (Plus taxes/fees!) Our trip had us at the hotel for about 17 hours, and the total for parking was $130. The app for the parking garage (which was attached to the hotel) noted discounted rates available with validation from participating businesses, but the Grand Hyatt said they did not have any kind of discounted parking available, which was surprising and disappointing. Valet parking was an option (I am not sure what the cost was for this) which parked your vehicle in the same garage as the self parking. Perhaps this is standard parking rates in Seattle, but I was not expecting it!

Five-Star Treatment!

I can not say enough about my stay at the Grand Hyatt Seattle. I was there for a 4-day convention and the entire team made me feel pampered, cared for, and stress free with every interaction. Starting with their outstanding concierge, Kenya, who helped me coordinate the delivery of my packages, to Jazz who went above and beyond to help me get them where they needed to go, to the bellman who sent complimentary bath salts to my room. WOW! It's been a long time since I've encountered such deep commitment to customer service and engagement! Did I mention the gorgeous rooms? As nice as the pictures are, they DO NOT do the rooms (and the bathrooms justice!) I'll definitely be back!

Grand hyatt

We love our stays out in this Hyatt. They’re always accommodating! They’re quick to resolve any, if we have any, issues. This place is centrally locating. We visit all of our favorite places. I love ours stays at this facility. PS bring your swim wear to do the stea rooms and sauna. Ruth Chris is a major plus! I love this hotel!!
