We booked king+tub+view. The room was beautiful, comfortable and clean. Mini fridge. The “view” was rooftop air conditioning units. Not what we were hoping for. Parking was nearly $70 for overnight! Gah.

Always a great stay
We adore this hotel, this is our 3rd stay. Its central location and lux rooms are what we love best. My young son loved to look out the window at the planes and seagulls. We enjoyed parking the car and walking everywhere.

Excellent but...
Overall, we loved the location and facility. The only problems we encountered were someone minor but a bit disconcerting. At check in, which was after check in time, our room was not ready, so it took 15 minutes or so to get our keys and meet our friends who were waiting for us. On check out we followed the instructions on the Valet parking stub to text them and our car would be ready. However, when we did so we received a text back that the system was to busy so we needed to go to the Valet in person. Again both were minor but an indicator that the facade was better than behind the scenes.

It was fine
The hotel overall was nice. The admirers in the room were a bit basic for the flagship Hyatt in Seattle in my opinion. No robes, a one cup coffee maker in a cabinet with a pretty bland k-cup brand on offer. I thought Seattle was the coffee capital? I would have thought they would offer something you wouldn’t find in your local grocery store. The bathroom drywall was cracked and separated along the ceiling. The bedding was comfortable and clean. There were two room temperature water bottles waiting for us in the bathroom. I did not see any menus for in room dinning and it felt just a step up from any run of the mill hotel chain. Overall it was nice stay, but for the prices, I expected a little more refinement. I did book one of the lesser expensive rooms so maybe I got the economy stay. I would bet the more expensive rooms came with a little more in amenities.
