Great hotel with new bar/restaurant. Dated rooms!
Maldon was a nice hotel. The bar/restaurant area are very nice and modern. The rooms are clean but very dated. Staff was friendly, and quick to address a few minor concerns. The taxi ride from the airport to the hotel was €50. The bus to the city center took 45 minutes. Next time I visit Dublin I would stay closer to the city center. The additional money I paid in transportation would be put towards a even nicer hotel. If your choose the Maldon Newlands Cross hotel then definitely rent a car. Get the buffet breakfast add on option also! Well worth extra charge. Also hands down the best burger I had in Dublin. The food is cooked fresh to order, and service was excellent.

Front desk staff was very helpful. Room was clean. Beds were not very comfortable at all.

Great hospitality. Bathroom needs updating as door gets stuck so be careful not to push it too tight. May not be able to open. No safe in the room which is a negative. Bathtub not wide enough, will touch shower curtain even if petite when taking a shower. Gross! Overall, good stay! Large hotel with excellent reception staff and breakfast is worth paying for abundance of food and friendly staff.

It was a good trip. My room was not ready when I arrived but they clearly had a very large event group just checking out. They were friendly and nice
