We were doing a self, first time tour of Ireland. This hotel fit our budget and was just a short cab ride into the Center of Dublin city. Taxi drivers and hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food was great!

be careful with this place!
We chose this hotel to be close to Dublin Hotel prior to our flight after touring Ireland. I rated this hotel unfavourably because of the stench of cigarette smoke in the elevator and hallway after coming in from dinner. We did not notice it when we checked in. It smelled like an old Las Vegas casino. When I checked out in the morning I saw a sign on the counter suggesting guests upgrade to a refurbished room for £10. I was told when we checked in the previous evening none of these rooms were available. When I asked how many floors has smoking rooms - only the 3rd floor which has 7 rooms. This was a busy place so not all the rooms could have been as worn out as the 3rd floor room we were given. Noisy, stinking of cigarettes, uncomfortable bed. Be aware.

Maldonado Newland cross
A very long way from the airport and downtown Dublin. Took 60 minutes to downtown on a bus and 45 minutes to the airport. Nothing around the hotel as it is by an interchange.

This was our second time staying here on this trip, this time we were given the disabled room. It was nice expect the bathrooms was one big room with no shower stall just an open room so when u showered the entire room was flooded for the rest of the day or night.
