Great place to stay
It is a great place to stay. We loved it as soon we walked in. Great welcome staff. Quiet, luxury, spacious room with a balcony on the garden. The included breakfast was so fabulous and tasty. It’s a place to go back without any doughts. Lose to everything, the marina, Empress hotel, parliament, museums, shopping, great restaurants, close to everything and easy to walk

a Grand Hotel !!
Beautiful hotel, the food was way above average, and the service was excellent. The heating and a/c is a small problem, but our understanding is that the historical society prevents them from upgrading and putting in storm windows. Some areas need a little painting. But loved the hotel and would stay there again.

Beautiful Inn
The room was beautiful and bright and the breakfast had plenty to choose from. There was a water cooler right next to the rooms, so the offer of free water was nice and convenient compared to other places. It is a historic property so there are things that come with that, such as no elevator, only stairs that you’ll have to carry your luggage up, and the main hallway floors and stairs are creaky so you can hear people coming and going - overall they’re things that are easily overlooked. Room looked identical to the photos online.
