Overall pleasant stay
We had great communication with customer support. The unit was in a good location. We had trouble with access due to our key fob having issues in the elevator. The unit was not as clean as I would have preferred, however they arranged to have the unit cleaned again. The dishwasher did not work and there were still dirty dishes from another guest inside. This was missed on the reclean. Overall though our stay was pleasant.

Great location for event at Wells Fargo
Frontdesk R&T was a great location. First, you need to know you can walk to Wells Fargo Event Center without ever going outside by using the Skywalk. The parking garage connects to the Frontdesk R&T. You can walk to several great restaurants and bars from the location. You can also walk to Richocett, a fun game bar for adults. One nice addition to the Frontdesk R&T is that you have a washer and dryer in your apartment. The apartment was clean and updated inside. The halls are still basically under construction and likely waiting for an update. The people email you all your information for checking in. It was very clear and easy to follow the instructions. Check-out just required bagging up trash and loading the dishwasher.

The property was exactly as described and pictured. Bathroom well stocked and exceptionally clean. Lots of hot water! All appliances clean and functional. Heat was easy to use. Beds were comfy. Nice views. Walking distance to everything we needed, including groceries. Easy check in. Responsive mgmt. Checked in with us via text to make sure all ok.

I was in Des Moines to attend a conference at the Iowa Events Center. My flight got me in Des Moines on a weekday several hours before the 3pm check in. When I made the reservation, I asked about getting in early. With nowhere to wait, I stayed at the airport. I received a message at 2pm the unit was ready. The planter has several lockboxes hanging around the sides on the lower rungs. I found mine easily enough but it took a bit to figure out how the box opened. Fortunately, one was left open so I could see how it opened. Getting in the building and to the unit was easy enough. The key fob is needed to operate the elevator, doors in the lofts building and the door to the skywalk. The 1-bedroom unit was clean and sparsely furnished with a queen size bed in a windowless bedroom. I didn’t find a blanket in the unit. A large closet in the bedroom. There were three large closets along the hallway leading to the full kitchen and living room. There were tall windows in this area. The sofa did not let out. There’s a Roku television in the living room with local channels available. There were two stools at the kitchen counter. Washer and dryer in the bathroom. There’s a convenience store across the street. The lofts are connected to the Marriott hotel via the skywalk. The walk to the Events Center via the skywalk was about 15-20 minutes and very convenient. I never saw anyone on my floor during my 4-night stay. A box of trash was outside the door of one unit my entire stay.
