Very Convenient Location
The main reason I picked the Beach Grove Motel was its proximity to the Swartz Bay ferry dock - about a 10 minute drive. My secondary reason for this location was the ability to park right outside of my door - I get SOOO tired of interior corridors and elevators... I was literally able to park two steps from my truck - not every room is so lucky, but close enough. My room was very large and roomy with a small kitchenette and living area with couch and chair - super comfortable. The oddity was in the bathroom - a LARGE jetted tub with a shower...and no shower curtain. There really wasn't a problem with water getting everywhere because of the size of the tub but it's a climb to get over into the tub and nothing to hang on to while making the trip. Otherwise the place was very clean and the cable television had plenty of choices for my overnight stay. There are plenty of nearby shopping and dining options, I would definitely stay here again.

Not for us…not again.
Not very impressed. A noisy space heater, a very cold bathroom floor, loud guests above us, limited wifi and no television. Not our best choice of places to stay. The desk clerk was unable to get the tv to work and said to speak to the manager at checkout about a reduced rate but there was no manager available. I left a message with front desk about this but have not seen a reduction in the amount charged Not impressed by any of it! This is an example of inexpensive NOT being a bargain.

Pictures of property need to be updated. Very shabby and in need of paint and generally fixed up. Very deceiving when you see it on your web site. We didn’t stay there. However, the staff at front desk was very nice and accommodating.
