Another Wonderful Stay
I was so impressed by the Mercure Beaux Arts during a previous stay that I decided to return for this three day self-indulgent visit to Lyon. The location is perfect, especially if you enjoy walking but are not looking for daily marathons. Nothing I wanted to see was more than a comfortable stroll away and the knowledgeable (and charming) staff provided accurate directions. More, they suggested restaurants, booked tables and (after a little conference) sent me off on a successful silk scarf buying mission. The hotel deserves its four stars so I wont dwell on room details. All the expected amenities were present. This time - like the last - was all about the personal service and I have no doubt I will return again.

Very central location. Room was comfortable, clean and more spacious than expected. We were most appreciative of the excellent customer service. Alix at front desk was very kind and helpful. She gave us great restaurant recommendations and sightseeing ideas. One thing to mention is although we placed the Do Not Disturb sign on our door the cleaning staff still entered our room daily.

Great breakfast. Modern bathroom. Cosy room. Key kept being demagnetized by my phone. Overall great staff, place and price. Was a 10 minute walk to the funicular.ar in old Lyon (crossing the pedestrian bridge).

This hotel is very well located. There is shopping and a beautiful fountain and square within meters of the hotel, as well as a very good French restaurant (recommended by staff) a few blocks away. The room we had was very small and noisy, due to it being right by a staircase. When I called the front desk about the noise they explained that a “large lady in high heels” was staying in the room above us. Apparently she “had just gone out”, so things should be quieter now. Really? Otherwise the staff were very helpful with their recommendations.

Very comfortable and great location
We spent several days at this hotel during our stay in Lyon. The location was very central making it easy to get to the sights, shopping and to find great places to eat. Hotel staff were very accommodating. The buffet breakfast was open for very generous hours, the variety of food selections was very good. Had a very pleasant stay.
