Easy to get to. Clean and good value for money.
Nice hotel. The room was small but it was a good use of space. The bathroom was odd. It had a roomy shower, sink and toilet but was in a cylindrical tube that looked like a posh portable. Not a complaint, but it was different. You have to step up to get inside. The bed was comfortable, the room clean and it was a very easy hotel to get to. Oxford Street train station is just a five minute walk. It's one of the easiest hotels I got to from the airport. You can't beat the train service in the UK. York and Liverpool are an easy trip away. There is "snack" service available 24 hours. I wouldn't call a hamburger with salad and fries/chips or any of the offerings "snacks" but that's what they call it. I loved the free Wi-Fi.

Budget hotel as to be expected
Booked a last minute business trip and the hotels I'd previously stayed in were full. Ibis is a budget hotel and as such I would say it meets expectations of a budget hotel. The area, which obviously cannot be changed, felt a bit daunting to walk around as a solo woman with many homeless people around. I'd have given a better comfort rating had I not been woken at 3:30am by the fire alarm because another guest was smoking in the hotel, which led to an awful night's sleep and subsequently exhausting business day to follow.

Very basic and way overpriced
Staff were friendly and pleasant and allowed us to check in early however room was very basic and dirty. There were large stains all over the carpet and the bathroom had long dark hairs in it. The room was generally a bit run down looking. The cost of the room was exorbitant for what we got.
