8/10 Very good

Expensive, but comfortable.
Room was comfortable and decor was warm & inviting. Parking was convenient in the garage under the hotel (or could park opt to park on a nearby street for free, as long as you were displaying your Park Pass. Location was convenient, with decent restaurants within walking distance, and only a short walk or bus ride into the centre of Banff.

8/10 Very good

Quiet, on motel 'row'.
The hotel is quite nice. Loved the fireplace, room was very large and comfortable. Dining was another story. Though their website said they were open until 10, we arrived just before 9pm to find them closed. We ended up eating at Chili's... ok but we had passed up a number of places trying to get to the hotel. The next morning we saw the menus in the case with a number of excellent options for breakfast, only to find that none of these existed and we had only the buffet. The buffet was fine, though they kept running out of stuff. Clearly they were understaffed in the dining room. It was a shame because the hotel was otherwise quite nice.
