2/10 Poor

Don’t let the nighttime photos catfish you!
The biggest and only regret I have for our Banff trip is staying here. The front desk people were perfectly fine… but the room was filthy. You could tell this room had been cleaned maybe a month or two ago? So much dust, the linens were itchy and uncomfortable. Every surface was sticky. The bathroom was disgusting, everything was outdated, the sound of the AC was terrible. I truly feel like I was catfished by this place and for $400 a night, the only plus was our king sized bed. Next time I’ll pay the $20 more and cross my fingers for clean bed sheets and a cleaning staff that actually cares. Almost bought another room in the middle of the night at a different hotel we were so disappointed and angry.

Great location within 10-15 minutes walking distance to downtown Banff. Free self-parking is a nice bonus. The rooms and area was quiet during the two days we stayed there, but the walls are a bit thin. We could hear people talking in the room next to us on the last night, but luckily they were not noisy late into the night.

There should be support bars in the shower to help people with a disability. Should offer shower bench when necessary. It is time to reopen the breakfast area, which was closed due the COVID pandemic.
