Nice and comfortable stay.
Hotel was nice and staff was really professional and helpful. Only problem you might run into is with the restaurant. I paid for the breakfast since my stay didn’t include the Food. After I paid for the breakfast and came out, one of the girls from the restaurant instead of checking within the team came running out to me asking if I paid for the breakfast which was insulting to be honest.

Hotel was good, clean and affordable. Restaurant was not very good, breakfast service was poor and food was not good. Buffet food went empty and they did not replenish

Great location for getting the the airport
The bed was average comfort. It looked very nice and the room was spacious for a downtown room. The room was very hot and had a fan but no air conditioning and the window only opened a crack. The shower was nice but difficult to get an average temperature. One tiny turn made it extremely hot or extremely cold.

Convenient location at a good price.
I was very happy with my stay at the Skylon Hotel. It was convenient to get to either the main areas of Dublin or the Airport because of the nearby bus stop. There are also restaurants right across the road that are good options for dining. The room at the Skylon was large and it felt like they thought of everything. Everything was so clean and tidy and the check in process was so professional. They even were able to print boarding passes for me free of charge. My boyfriend had a late flight in so he checked in around 1am while I had checked in earlier and it was no problem getting the key for him. Highly recommend staying here and would stay again. The hotel dining room was convenient and they do a good breakfast. My only downside is that I wish the wifi was just a password instead of having to sign in on a webpage. Only because it's a little irritating to do on some browsers because they block the page to sign in because it isn't a secure page.

Not a good experience
Nice and clean hotel, but our room was incredibly warm and the heat could not be adjusted. The window opened slightly and there was a desk fan...but still very uncomfortable. Another couple traveling with us had the same issues in their room. Asked the front desk to order a large capacity cab for 6:15am the next morning as we had a lot of luggage. They assured us that they had arranged an 8-seat vehicle. Not so. Small cab arrived. The manager was at the counter, but he was not reassuring and kept telling us a larger cab would be there shortly. Very stressful situation as we almost missed our flight due to the long delay to get the cab there. No apology, no offer to reduce our bill as compensation. He did not accept responsibilty, just blamed his staff.

A great option
Fantastic service. From people at the front desk to the dining room, the staff was excellent- so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I was in two different rooms and both had a bit of a black mould issue in the bathrooms around the tub area. One room was much worse than the other. You can smell it and it’s definitely a health hazard long term. I tended to keep the bathroom door closed when we were in our room at nighttime. I would say if they renovate that part of the restrooms and have proper fans going and water control from the tub there should be no issue going forward. Our overall stay was great. The rest of the room was very clean- spotless and the toilet & sink in the bathroom were also in great shape. The location was also very good. An easy bus ride into Dublin city centre. Would stay here again.

Room (301) was very small for a so-called Executive King room. Stains on the pillowcases. Rooms were supposed to be soundproof but could hear hallway noise very clearly, Fire door outside room was left ajar and woke me up several times due to banging. No guest computers.
