We loved Herminio
We were a family of 6 that stayed at the resort. It was beautiful and we loved the views. Room service was very fast and everyone was friendly. From the moment we walked in, Herminio took great care of us and he was so helpful through the whole stay. Where I think this hotel needs help is the food. The buffet is mediocre - 5/10. The restaurants are better however you can only book same day reservations so it’s so hard to actually make it to the restaurants and thy are only open at night. The buffet food was not good at all. Overall I would give our stay a 7/10 because of the food.

Not enough chairs on beach several chairs broken umbrellas broken man trying to sell pot on beach. Room noisy. I fell on board walk due to warped board. Bartender at beach side poor service to busy talking with locals vs paying guest. Only positive was lunch buffet. Would not recommend or return.

There are pros and cons to this resort and obviously some are personal preference. The rooms are very nice. Our housekeeper was amazing and super friendly. Located in a jungle like area which was very cool. The beach was large and nice. Pros Very clean Close to 5th Avenue Nice beach 2 pools Cons The internet is terrible it constantly kicks you off The buffets are very Mexican heavy even breakfast Overall I would stay there again

Beautiful resort with fantastic beach. Food was okay. Italian restaurant was amazing. Mexican restaurant not so much. Walking distance to PDC and also another little market within Playacar. Rooms were great. No musty smell at all. Nightly entertainment needs some work but fire show was outstanding

The property is what you would expect for the age of it. The service was not good at all. The food was mediocre. But after realizing we left a phone there, we have not been able to have it sent to us even though they confirmed they have it. Either no one answers the phone or you get transferred to a line no one answers. This resort is not worth the money. We enjoyed our VRBO in Tulum much more than this “full service” resort.
