Safety concerns
All in all, the stay was ok. Breakfast was plentiful and the room was pretty clean. We had someone attempt to get into our room in the middle of the night. We were sleeping with the extra latch locked. It appeared they had a key and tried to push their way in. We yelled and the person ran off. The front desk called about a minute later to asked if someone attempted to get in and we said yes. They hung up the phone without apology or asking if we were ok. It seemed so strange, because if they accidentally gave another guest our room number and key, why not apologize? Or if someone was attempting to break into rooms, why not ask if we were ok? The room rate seemed much to high for the lack of customer service skills.

The hotel was very dated and small, which I had expected. The room was clean, and room for only 1 person. The shower had no water pressure and leaked all over the bathroom. There was breakfast of breads (bagel, muffin, waffle), fruit, eggs, and sausages which never changed. The staff were courteous and helpful, and location was very walkable to many restaurants and convention center.

Parking not included, misleading.
I need a $40 refund back to my card. Parking was included in booking from the misleading advertising. Upon arrival, clerk says they lease parking from someone else so have to charge. Every person that walked in had the same assumption about parking. Restroom was dirty, walls were dirty, did not feel welcoming.

The property is in a perfect spot for night life. You can walk anywhere and it is relatively safe in the area. There was a cockroach in our room and the staff did move us to a different room, which has just been cleaned. Good price for the location and the room.
