Executive Hotel Vancouver Airport, Vancouver
The apartment style suite is a bit out-dated, room lighting kind of dim and the unit is not airconditioned so on hot humid summer days could be uncomfortable. On the positive side, location is good, close to Richmond downtown major shopping mall and eating. Hotel staff is friendly and provides shuttle-service to airport. The unit is fully equipped including a dish washer, hardtop range, micro-wave, coffee maker, full size fridge for a big family, two good size bedroom, two 4-piece bath, also a washer and dryer which are essential for a long stay. Price at $350/day is very reasonable for the Richmond downtown location.

Executive Hotel Vancouver Airport, Vancouver
This was an extremely disappointing hotel. An event was taking place at the hotel that we were attending so we chose to stay on site. The rooms were well worn, outside of window on the "fitness level" were shoes, garbage, chairs, etc. Large number of insects found throughout the hotel. Staff is friendly but not well trained in customer service in requirements of the hospitality industry. Has potential but unless major changes in cleanliness and customer service takes place you are better off staying at another location and walking to this site for events.

Layover stay
Stayed in the history hotel for one night during a layover. It was close to the airport, and comfortable for a quick sleep before continuing our travels.

Old and overpriced rooms in a old hotel
We booked this hotel to be fairly close to the airport with free shuttle. The hotel is very old and the rooms have not been renovated to modern standards. While they were clean, the fact that the rooms are old, with old appliances, bathtub, wallpaper and decoration makes the whole experience not really enjoyable. Staff is nice though. Also, we had booked a pet friendly room and paid a $25 extra for that. We ended up in a first floor room, smaller and older than the other ones. So basically just because we have a tiny dog that doesn't even shed we paid extra to have the crappiest room they have. We complained about that and the manager "graciously" upgraded us to a regular room. We did not hotel restaurants. We chose the Irish bar next door instead and were happy with our food there. We did not try the hotel breakfast either and went to Starbucks a block away (inside the Sheraton hotel). Given previous reviews and price ($15/person for the buffet), Starbucks was a better and cheaper option. Overall it was clearly not worth the money. We live in Vancouver so we know everything is overly expensive but in this instance it was still way too much for what it was.
