    Lovely clean comfortable hotel.

    We had a lovely 2 night stay, staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we had heating issues ìn pur first and then second room, but was quickly resolved. Food was good too.

    Room with Noisy Extractor Fan Bathroom

    We checked in a room. The extractor fan was too noisy. It was unbearable. We then requested to change for another room. The hotel gave us a disable person's room. The bathroom washing basin was too low. The extractor fan was still noisy. We were not happy but did not ask to change room for another time. Overall stay was not happy.

    Hotel has lost its customer service element

    On arrival I was asked for £25 additional payment as a deposit for damages - this is a business trip not a stag do Also no option to charge to room or set up a tab very difficult for business use My room 126 was supposed to be a Higher spec room the wood on the top of the Toilet was loose and the flush didn’t work correctly Also the higher spec room meant one extra room with a small tv on the wall with the main big tv in the bedroom no chair for the desk Very very slow service in the restaurant I have stayed here many times before and although the staff are friendly and do there best the management decisions and changed policies alienate guests

    45 mins for a ladle of risotto

    Hotel generally is nice, however food service is very questionable. Mushroom risotto is in fact plain risotto rice with the addition of some type of mushroom like sauce on top. I’m no chef but I know that doesn’t equate to a mushroom risotto. To make things worse it actually took over 45 mins to arrive. Wasn’t busy just one other table seated in the entire place.
