Better food control you go more attention with the each dish don’t need a big menu but good, more buses to go to hotel zone, more flexible time for kid zone, pick up and drop of at the airport because the location it closed to the airport.

First time being in Mexico I wish I did more research. The place itself isn’t horrible. I got a swim up room with a beach view. This was my main selling point for the kids and the room was beautiful, always cleaned and bar was always stocked. There is no actual view though because they put trees in front of the pool (assuming for privacy reasons) but no point in putting beach view in that case. The location is what didn’t do it for me. There is literally nothing around. Not 1 store or Restaurant. There is a shuttle that can take you to the “hotel zone” and its free but the shuttle does 3 trips a day and takes only 15 people. So if you don’t reserve it exactly 24 hours prior (online) you’ll be stuck paying $60 for a cab if you want to explore anything but the resort. Also the resort is not on a beach. More like a bay and the water is brown, you can’t hangout on the sand and there’s a machine that is constantly cleaning the little bit of sand there is and it smells like boiled eggs. The smell is so strong while you’re outside in the pool you smell it constantly. The food wasn’t horrible considering it’s mainly all buffet and it’s sitting out. Restaurant food was definitely better. Overall it was an ok experience here. No problems with staff or cleanliness of the hotel just not really what I expected staying here.
