Saving on the cost of accommodation in Copenhagen
We stayed here as an alternative to staying in Copenhagen. It took us one hour to get from one to the other including walking time and the bus (the subway routes were closed due to construction). Still it cost $230 per night and that was with a discount. The room was drab with the narrowest twin beds we have ever seen. However, we got used to the room. It was very quiet at night except for one on the weekend. The people who work there were very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. We didn't eat breakfast there - it was very expensive (as is everything) so we ate pastries from the bakery down the road or went to Emmery's which has pastries and sandwiches. But you'll pay $15 for a tea and a coffee. Very easy to get to the airport from there.
