Great bathrooms!
This was a nice hotel. Definitely upgrade to one of the suites. The larger rooms are worth the extra price. The real selling feature through was the bathtub. It was huge!

Good alternative if you can tolerate traffic noise
An alternative to high priced chain hotels, this hotel is well priced for the excellent downtown location. Be prepared for some traffic noise. My only complaint was the use of too much air freshener in the room. Had to air it out for a few hours after check in.

Affordable, don't expect much.
This hotel was sort of a miss for me. The pictures are very deceiving in comparison to the actual product. The room was small. The door was only a few feet away from the edge of the bed. It felt kind of odd that the door was that close to the bed. I understand that some hotels are like this, but I don't typically appreciate it. The walls are thin. You can hear anyone in the hallway, and other people in the room next to you. Also, we had a room facing the street. The hotel is only 4 floors so during rush hour you'll hear a lot of cars due to the traffic congestion if your room is facing the street. The room did not seem very clean. I found a lot of liquid stains on the bed frame and tables in the room. I was completely disgusted when I found a bug in the bathroom. Just an FYI, the shower head was fairly low for me (I'm 6'1") so if you're tall you might find yourself bending a bit like myself. The shower head does adjust but barely enough for anyone over 6 feet. This hotel is great if you're on a budget and looking for a place to sleep in the downtown area. Very convenient and only a few minutes walk from Vancouver City Centre station. The wifi is high speed with no problems. There's a fridge and coffee maker in the closet. The sheets were clean. The hotel just kind of gave an old vibe that I did not really care for. The red in the pictures looked cool but in person it was rather dull. Overall, I would not come back here to stay, if you're a budget traveller then I guess?
