Booked this hotel for the great location, upon arriving we were not able to check in on time and it almost made us late to the baseball game which my husband and I had came from very far away to watch. Seemed that the rooms were not cleaned yet, however, the front desk remained calm dealing with frustrating customers. luckily the game was delayed so the later check in did not matter. Bathroom was nice but the blankets on the bed did not smell clean. there was also a lady yelling in the lobby late at night so maybe there should be a bit more security?

This is the second time we have stayed at the Cambria. We came back because the first time was so terrific! The location, the staff, the service... everything was exactly what we needed! We will choose the Cambria again and again!

do not stay here if a Nationals game is happening
Where to begin. Arrived at 230. Was told that check in started at 3 and we had tickets to Nationals game at 4. Arrived to be told that Valet was full due to game and we would need to find parking on our own. They gave us an app called SpotHero. Closest place was 1.5 miles away at a cost of 25.00. Drive over and uber back to find out our room was not ready. Checked in every 20 minutes to no avail. At 350 I asked how much longer and the nice young man said I have assigned you a room now so they will clean it and it should only be 15 minutes more. Why was my room not assigned when I got here at 230. Got into our room and over to the stadium late. One of the reasons we booked the hotel was the rooftop bar. We wanted to come back after the game and enjoy it. When we got back from the game we were greeted by a big sign that the bar was closed for a private party. No mention of that in the email of at check in. The room did not have hand soap. We asked for it twice and it was never delivered I will give out good jobs when they are deserved. Nice young man behind counter was Colby I believe. Very good at his job under pressure and the room was very clean. But I would never stay here again

Great place for a game stay
Super nice place. Next to both the Baseball and soccer stadium. Walked to the baseball game in <10 minutes. Not many restaurants in the area to walk that are less than a mile, but we didn't mind the walk. Valet parking is a must as the wasn't much parking around the area.

Overall it is a nice place to stay. I thought bed was uncomfortable though. The mattress was very firm. Housekeeping could do a better job cleaning and making sure it's clean for the next guest. There were socks laying in the floor beside the bed and hair on the bathroom floor
