The rooftop pool is glorious
The rooftop pool is the star of the show. Extremely comfy bed and excellent service from all staff team. Location convenient. Price good and did not see any other hotels and gage envy! It might be obvious to others but I had thought the rooms with sea views had small balconies. They don’t. Just in case it’s a dealbreaker for anyone. I took a private transfer when I arrived organised by hotel. It was R$400 from GIG, the cost with Uber was R$56 and with designated taxis (can’t use Uber) from SDU R$65. This is not a criticism, the transfer was good, reliable and welcomed me by name and I needed certainty after a long flight as a solo woman, but just highlighting for others that there are much cheaper and easy/safe alternatives. Would recommend and return if in Rio again.

Overall quite good and would say the bell hops, maid service, and servers at the breakfast were outstanding. Didn’t get that same level of warmth from the front desk staff. The breakfast was good but some more variety each day would have been good. The location can’t be beat, right on the beach
