Not the five stars it sells itself as. Good pool and drinks. What lets it down is the food. Have had some of the worst food ever at an all-inclusive, including at their “speciality” restaurants. They need to get some chefs that know the actual cuisine.

Front desk staff is somewhat aloof and unwelcoming. The room is clean, the bed comfortable, but the walls are so thin that you can hear conversations and lots of noise from other suites. The restaurants are relatively clean, and the staff are friendly and work hard to make sure you are taken care of, although on one occasion we had to get out own utensils napkins and drinks after about 10 or 15 minutes of waiting. The food was pretty much the same every day and we rate it at 7 out of 10. The pool area was clean and the entertainment staff try hard to get everyone involved, especially Adrianna, who wears a constant enthusiastic attitude. It was disappointing that when we missed tipping the poolside waiter on one occasion that he thereafter he ignored us and no longer came to see if we needed drinks. We tipped staff regularly. The evening entertainment was just OK. I cut my foot and have extreme praise for Yankee, the first aid/life guard who tended to it daily with care and professionalism. Overall we would rate this all inclusive 6.5 out of 10

First time at this resort. Stayed a couple of weeks. Found the service, servers, front desk, housekeeping, activity centre all extremely friendly , helpful, enthusiastic, entertaining!! The buffet at the main buffet centre has a great selection plus a theme every day of the week. Food changed out very regularly for hot and fresh. Al a cartes difficult to get into since they only reserve a week at a time starting Sundays so there is a long lineup in the morning but since the restaurants are small and the reservation times are hourly it’s tough to get in at the most popular times. Lots of activities and challenges throughout the whole day and various theme events at 9 every evening - the MJ night was really good - kudos to tireless dancers! One negative is the echo chamber that is the new wing courtyard- not everyone is conscious of the fact they are not the only ones staying in the hotel and it can at times become annoying when trying to enjoy the view and ambiance.
