Extended Stay America Pittsburgh - Monroeville

From the entry to exit the experience is not good, I stayed in this same hotel few years ago, but now my opinion about this hotel has been changed. Bed sheets are not clean, spotted blood stains, bad smell in the room, not clean. The hotel corridor is dirty and coffee stains on the floor, no warning for raised matted floor, potential for flip. I will not be staying this hotel again and not recommending to others.

The shower was broken in our room, they gave some type of Wrenches to control, and the waster pressure was very low, I have to help the whole family operate it. And I booked this hotel for the breakfast, but there is no breakfast, no milk, bread or egg - only black coffee and muffin. - I will not recommend, keep it as the last option.

Full of garbage from previous occupant. Room was not cleaned and yet no one bothered to check before giving the room to the new occupant. Also, hot breakfast is misleading. No coffee machine or even clean glasses in the room.

Arrived at 7pm, waited 15 minutes in line to check with 5 people ahead of me, only to be told that they had no rooms with 2 beds available. They wanted to move us to a hotel 30 minutes away. Upon insisting we were told to come back in 2 hours and they would clean one.....Really!!!! We had clearly stated on our reservation we were a family of 4 and needed 2 beds. Booked 3 weeks out.

i really found big spider in this room , I will say pay little more and look something else , as staff was very good . i told him gently , you know i have seen spider in room ... If i din't fund spider then i have rated 4 but because if spider i am rating 2.5 .. We like parking and location . ..

Had to use chair from room for transport because the one luggage carrier was mostly missing. One lamp not lighting, kitchen faucet broken, people openly smoking in non-smoking areas. Maintenance should be done more regularly.

Checked in- dragged all my bags upstairs. Key didn’t work. It was Late and the other rooms were very loud. So much so that being in the hall you could hear all their convos. Since I had to go back downstairs anyway because my key didn’t work I requested another room that was in a quiet part of the hotel. The new room that I got I walked into in the bed wasn’t made. No problem. Call the front desk and told them and they came with new bedding. That was no big deal. Went into brush my teeth and the sink didn’t work. Fine also I’ll just brush my teeth with some bottled water and go to bed bc I was tired and had to be up early. They didn’t switch my wake up call request from the old room to the new room so there was no wake up call that morning. Woke up and looked around and realized that there was food in the sink thick black hair all over the bathroom counter and dirt on the floor!! The room wasn’t even cleaned. Then I went to the bathroom, NO. Toilet. Paper. GROSS. Absolutely gross.

I didn't like that my room was without a shower curtain, no wash clothes, no coffee maker & no silverware/cups/plates. But the customer service was welcoming and great.

It was a good one. But need to improve wifi. Could not get connected when trying to connect.

The room was supposed to be non smoking and it smelled like someone was still in there smoking. We asked for another room and the next room the bathtub was dirty and had cigarette butts next to the bed. Only good thing was a full refrigerator which we needed other then that we could have slept better in the car. The sheets looked dirty so we brought blankets out of our car to sleep on. We only stayed a few hours to rest before getting on road for drive home. Even the employee said they would never stay there and that is a shame. Terrible. Very disappointed.
