Good location, breakfast was poor, my room window looked straight into a wall. A bit expensive for what you get

Very satisfied
Great location and view from the room, clean room and very friendly and helpful staff. We did not use the swimming pool, we were to busy doing our staff, so can not say anything about. Great accessibility to anything you want - five minutes walk to Waterfront train station, two min walk to embankment, Canada Place, Port of Vancouver, water. We enjoined our choice.

'The Wall'
before I booked the room I read many of the reviews and one in particular stuck out about the room facing a wall!...I thought to myself what are the odds of getting that one room, well guess what?...that's the room I got! I was redeeming a free night as so quite possible that's "freenight" room! did have a peek a boo water view if you looked out the corner window so not all was lost!...I LOVED the staredown by the Seagulls and pigeons as they sat down on top of the wall! at least I had some company! LOL..I made the suggestion to maybe paint a mural on the bare wall to brighten up the view as this looks like the only room that has such wall infront of the main window.. the iPhone/dock was probably from the Nano era as that was the connection!...also so old it was yellow from age! flip it over and it was white once upon a time!..I never tried the breakfast as I'm not a pastry/cereal person and that seems to be what continental is...and I hope in the future some hotels start investing in Nespresso machines and pods for single serve coffee in the rooms...the coffee is 100 times better quality and the pods are 100 recyclable and are now part of Vancouver's program!..the safe is large and fits a laptop which was nice!..the windows also open so it was nice to let some fresh air in too!..I'm not sure if I can put the room # in the I'll try (911) and if not its a very common ermergency number too!...

Excellent! Will be back a real gem!
First time at the Auberge and thoroughly impressed. We were upgraded to a suite and it was fabulous very spacious and excellent decor. Front desk was great at check advising and helping. Excellent location and had a great view of the harbour and Canada Place. You can walk to just about everything from here downtown. Free breakfast was basic but an excellent assortment of pastries and croissants. If you go on weekend parking can actually be cheaper paying parade daily rate rather than hotel rate as it is a shared parade with Terminal City Club. We will be back excellent stay. Only thing to note is pool not really that kid friendly. Pool is shared with Terminal City Club and set up with Club members for swimming laps our entire stay, just one lap lane open for leisure swimming. Also pool is adults only 4-6pm and 8-10am.

Early check-in and late check-out
This was our second time staying at this hotel, I sought it out when we were going for a night downtown from the suburbs. The staff was so accommodating! Early check-in so we could settle in time for our massage across the street and late-check out (2pm!!!) so we could enjoy the pool in the afternoon. We were even upgraded to a 1 bedroom room with a view. The hotel is a little dated and the complimentary breakfast is VERY MINIMAL but that wouldn't stop me from staying there again.
