I really wanted to love this hotel as others. I Soley picked this hotel from the pictures and reviews. Coming in from Chicago to celebrate my 50th birthday. Checked in and told I was getting an upgrade. I was super excited. I get to my room and it is fully carpeted with older brown carpeting. Totally shocked only cause all the pictures online show the rooms with hard wood floors. I’m allergic to dust, pollen, etc. One of the reasons I picked this hotel was the hardwood floors. I called down to ask if there was a non-carpeted room due to my allergies. I was told none were available. 15 minutes later another representative called to let us know one was available. I was very happy to hear this and little surprised since being told none were. We finally get to the new room and it was beautiful. Sadly toilet pressure was not working properly and sink was clogged. Room lights were all not working either. It seems the rooms lack proper maintenance to make things run or work accordingly. I visit NY about 5 or 6 times a year for work and pleasure. This was my first stay here.

The Place to Stay in NYC!
Wonderful stay and a geat location for access to anything you would want to do in NYC! The hotel staff were very attentative to my needs from check-in to check-out and upgraded my room, free of charge. The room was exceptionally clean and had amenities to cater to any requirements you may have. Extra kudos for the well stocked mini bar and fridge.

My New Go To Hotel in New York City
Location, Location, Location. The room was large by NY standards. Very comfortable clean bed. Great housekeeping.Daily towels and sheets. Did I say clean? Super clean-and green conscious.Bathroom was all marble with a huge soaking tub and separate stall shower. Great area for walking around Manhattan or taking the subway. Bryant Park is across the street and is a beautiful tree-lines park with lots of fun activities. The main reason for my high priase of this hotel is the staff. Everyone form the GM to the front desk to the bellman were super friendly and knew everone's names by the first day. It's in a historic 1921 skyscraper that's also beautiful to look at.
