Noisy air conditioner

It’s an older hotel and the rooms are fairly small - at least for 3 women and all their luggage etc. We had trouble falling asleep the first night because our air conditioner was very noisy and it was too hot to sleep without it. We asked to move to another room with a quieter system and the staff were very accommodating.
