We have been the falls many times but staying at this inn was like a whole new experience!! We love it here!

    Dog friendlier suggestion
We were traveling with a dog and it would have been helpful to have a key fob that allowed us to get back into the building at night without having to go all the way around to the front entrance, since our room was quite far from the lobby. There were doors that were closer but they were locked from the outside. I understand that this is probably a safety issue, but there are ways to access locked doors with your room key.

    Extra costs
The hotel was fine and we did appreciate the old world charm but we were surprised by extra costs that were not expected. We did not expect to pay for parking or the pool which by the way we never used. These extra charges should be clearly spelled out or be a part of the total cost.It felt like a money grab and unfortunately tainted the whole experience

Tons of potential at the Old Stone Inn. Cleanliness needs to improve.

    Good experience, sneaky fees.
We enjoyed our experience overall, room was tidy and view of courtyard was nice. However, we were surprised to find an extra $10 per day charge for coffee and water - and there was no opting out of this. There is also a $20/day fee for parking. And the restaurant and bar are over priced.

Basic Experience costing a Pretty Penny
The common areas of the hotel were beautiful. Check in took forever. We decided to book and extra night with them in addition to the one we originally booked. No coupons, no complimentary breakfast, and I had to literally beg to get 2 complimentary glasses of wine. I was not at all impressed with my room. The TV was too small and of low quality. The room felt more like I was staying at a cheesy motel and not at a swanky boutique hotel. The room was cold and the bathroom was basic. We went to the pool on Saturday at around 1pm-ish - stayed awhile and came back to the room to shower and there was no hot water. The water pressure wasn't the greatest either. The beds were comfortable, however there was a foreign stain on one of the pillow cases - thankfully we had two queen beds so we used the other bed. Resort fees and parking costs in addition to what we paid for the each night's stay - added up. It was a lot of money spent on a very basic experience. Location was good, was able to easily walk to good restaurants and to the casino. I will not stay at the Old Stone Inn should I every decide to stay over-night at the falls again.
