My stay at Hyatt Place was really a wonderful experience. ALL of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The room was quite large by NYC standards and everything appeared new-ish. There was plenty of room in a king-sized room for 2 people, and it came with a great view of the ESB. Rooms included a desk, office chair with wheels, bench, coffee maker, mini fridge, and wardrobe. Breakfast was an excellent start to the day (tip: the earlier you go, the better). Some previous reviews complained about elevator wait time but I had no problems. (Keep in mind that if you book the hotel for an event nearby, others probably did the same. The hotel will therefore be crowded and you will therefore have to wait for the elevator.) I was on the 25th floor (out of 45) and never once did I have to wait more than 2 minutes for an elevator, and they were often empty when they did arrive. This hotel was in a really great location for me, as I have been to NYC dozens of times and was not looking for a super touristy spot to stay. The subway stops are all very close to the hotel with central lines to everywhere I needed to go. I will most likely stay at this hotel again for my future visits. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!
