Elevators take FOREVER in the morning

Great location in Chelsea. Rooms are very cramped if you have two double beds. Very little space for luggage. Also, you could easily wait 10-15 minutes for an elevator in the morning in this hotel. I would account for at least an extra 30 minutes just to get to/from breakfast back to your room. Good breakfast selection.

Good place.

It was a mother daughter trip to Manhattan. Staff were VERY friendly. The rooms are nice for what we paid. Issues is the elevator. There isn’t enough of them! Avoid using them between 8-10am. The mad rush to grab breakfast or check out makes the elevators busy. There is no way around the limited elevators. You simply can’t build more. But maybe create a better system? Lift #1 services specific floors, lift #2 another set of floors etc… waiting 25 mins for a lift is too long. Otherwise it’s a great place to stay. Location is great, Whole Foods is nearby. Other places to grab food. We will definitely visit again.

Overall I would say so-so We stayed in double beds and that room was way too small and not even place to keep clothes in a drawer and no place for small table chair.. nothing. Bathroom shower was tiny and I bumped into side handle few times. Breakfast was good. So execpt for breakfast, so-so place but it is located right for access. I would probably stay at different place next time.

Elevator issue: Other than that a Great Stay!!

It was an amazing experience staying here. We were at the 45th floor so the view was great. Only 1 concern: There are 45 floors with approx. more than 15 rooms on each floor & only 4 elevators, out of which 1 was permanently "out of order". It was a grave inconvenience. People were waiting for avg. 20-25 mins for the elevator.

Great rooms at a good location

A good place to stay for a few nights. Rooms were great with fantastic views and a comfy bed. The only downsides was the quality of breakfast options, some hot food was left cold for a long period of time and a lack of options meant we only had it once during our stay. Peak times also are a nightmare if you want to use the lift. Appreciate its a busy hotel with lots of floors, however it shouldn’t take 20 minutes to get downstairs, plus we had to take the stairs around 30 floors which was tiring. Perhaps need a look at making the lifts more frequent and routed better.
