Walk to hotel from train station
My only complaint is the hard matress! And super thin pillows, linens and mattress desperately need to be better quality. Staff was great, breakfast perfect, room overall good, location for train great, but 20 min walk to old verona area

Hotel near Verona station
I used this hotel for sightseeing trip of Verona and Mantova. Big plus is it is 5 minutes walk from Verona station. Room was very small with tiny shower. Other than that, I was satisfied with my stay. All the sights in Verona is about 20-25 minutes walk from the station. You have option of staying near the station or take taxi or bus to town centre.

Birthday Treat
The hotel was close to the station which suited me as I was travelling by train and wanted to go to Venice on the Sunday. The hotel did not have a restaurant and is a good distance from the main town which meant I had a long walk over busy roads to get anywhere. The staff recommended a few places to try in town and were very helpful even offering to get a taxi for me. As it was my birthday on the Monday the staff had noticed this and had taken the time to give me a card to congratulate the event.

The hotel staff and reception in particular were excellent! Take care of everything you need and go far beyond what is acceptable! The rooms are a bit small but totally worth the price!

Rip Off
Our accomodation was booked through Ireland. We believed we were booking in Australian dollars. It wasn’t until we had provided our credit card that we received a shock that it was billed in US dollars. To make matters worse it was a lot cheaper on other sites in Australian dollars or Euros. We requested an adjusted rate with and yet to receive a satisfactory outcome. We believe that at $415 Australian dollars for a hotel that was in our opinion a three star at best with small rooms was an absolute rip off.

Heating / AC not working properly; Room too hot.
The room was extremely hot. Had the AC running all night but the temperature wouldn’t come down. Very uncomfortable night.

Great little hotel. Would stay again.
We opted for a standard double because we'd only really be sleeping there. There was plenty of space around the comfy bed, which was wider than the king-size we have at home. The bathroom was compact, not small but tight on space around the toilet and a fairly small shower. The reception, breakfast and housekeeping staff were all very good. Breakfast was a good cold buffet. Plenty available and more than enough to fill us for the day ahead. The only negative is that we could clearly hear conversations in the rooms around and above us. The other guests weren't noisy or up late, so it didn't cause us any problems. There are no bars, restaurants nor grocery stores anywhere nearby. If you want to eat out in the evening (there's no restaurant at the hotel), the chances are that you're going to head to Piazza Bra. Pasta and pizza dishes for 10-12 euros, a little more for other options. Expect to pay around 6 euros for half a litre of beer or a glass of wine though. The hotel is only a few minutes from the railway station; which makes it a great base for exploring further afield. If you use the regional expresses, you can get to Venice in an hour and a half for about 19 euros return. A 25 minute journey the other way will get you to Lake Garda for about 9 euros return. Yes, there are ladies of the night in the vicinity. There were 3 regularly nearby, but they were fairly inconspicuous and if I hadn't read about them beforehand we might not have noticed. They weren't a problem.

We were having just a night stop, so this hotel filled the purpose. Staff was great. Room was comfortable and clean. I think for visiting Verona this hotel is a little far from Attractions. Peculiar women were seen between the hotel and train station that lead to suspect prostitution activities. Nevertheless we never felt unsafe.

Not bad, very good location
Hotel is very close to the train station. The room is quite small but is good enough for one or two day stay. The bathroom is quite old but is clean. The blanket is not very clean. Staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is ok, not a lot of choices.

Good hotel near the main Verona train station
The Novo Hotel Rossi is close to the Verona main train station and a mile to the center. As someone else said, don’t follow Google Maps which takes a longer route, but the large signs near the station. The hotel room was very comfortable and the buffet breakfast is varied and tasty. There are no shops or restaurants near the hotel. You can also take a bus to the center.
