Walls were paper thin. You could hear everything that was going on in neighbours room. Clean and the breakfast was good but definitely a budget hotel that was way overpriced

We had a comfortable stay and the staff where very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would mention is the shower was not very hot so unsure if this was an issue throughout the hotel or just our room? The location of the hotel is great - 10 mins from city centre.

lift
it was really busy in York which we expected and didn't mind,the room looked lovely although the bed was smaller than a double and the pillows were so uncomfortable we hardly slept at all.. the lift was broken when we came back after the night out which was annoying as we were on 3rd floor,i had to wait for fresh items to be brought at breakfast as nearly all had ran out,hotel was very central for all the attractions etc but that was the only thing we found of any benefit,really disappointed as it was quite expensive to stay there for one night,and expected it to be more restful,,staff were helpful
