Good stay, but some notable drawbacks
Beautiful hotel, polite staff, and a great location! Only 2 complaints are 1. One of the two elevators was broken so it could take a little bit to get in and out of the hotel 2. The noise—everytime someone had a conversation in a neighboring room or hallway I could hear it pretty loudly—the door/wall insulation could use some serious improvements when it comes to soundproofing. I’ve stayed in cheaper motels with better sound insulation. 3. After staying I also noticed some bug bites which my doctor thinks are probably from bedbugs. 4. Showers were clean but spilled a lot of water and had low water pressure; I tried to leave towels on the floor to reduce water spillage but they should improve their shower design so it doesn’t spill out so much. Now for the good stuff; chalk on the concrete ceiling was a fun touch, rooms seemed reasonably clean (aside from the potential bedbug problem). I like that they have solid flooring in the rooms so it’s harder for fleas, mites and bugs to burrow in (really good if you have allergies!). Front desk staff was professional, my room had a nice view of the parking lot and street next door along with some other buildings. Overall a pretty decent deal for $110/night. Definitely would consider staying again (depending on how many more weeks I have bed bug bites). Old dude in the elevator complained about the rooms being small but tbh they’re fine; I just need a clean safe space to sleep and for the most part Moxy met those needs!

Fun spot
Was great over all. Walls are a bit thin though, so you are well-aware of your neighbors.

Phenomenal customer service
The customer service we received from Madison was outstanding and we were super impressed with the swanky room when we arrived. I will say, the bed was a little disappointing from a comfort standpoint, but overall, our stay was really terrific and playing games in the hotel lobby is one of my favorite memories of the trip!

Decent deal.
Nice new, modern hotel. Great location. The room was real small. They've taken the minimalist modern style a little too far. The main room light switch turns off the light by the bed. What? No ice. No coffee in room. No fridge or micro. Only a place to sleep. Not that you'd ever want to escape the travesty that is the host of nearly dead drug derelicts who inhabit this city. The city is beautiful. The situation is terrible. I'd like to come back if the drug problem is ever solved.
