    Perfect location
Clean rooms and beautiful views. Very good location on the end of the Malecon. Within walking distance are dozens of restaurants, massage options, banks, stores and tourist tour businesses.

The location is superb, but the service in the restaurant is very slow. I could not substitute bacon for sausage on the breakfast menus, although bacon was a choice for other breakfasts. This is a minor complaint, but I simply wanted bacon and eggs. The fruit was very fresh and tasty. Also, I have been at friendlier hotels. I will still go back as the location and view cannot be beat. Right next to the Malecon and close to spas.

We will definitely stay at the Rosita again. The service was amazing, our view was great, our room was wonderful with a large patio overlooking the ocean

I was put in room 318, which i would call a "closet room". I have come to believe that when I book with Expedia, I will get a hotel's :lesser" room. this has happened 3 times. No More!

Depends what you are looking for
We booked with which gave us details and square footage on our reservation which saved us. The first room was so tiny we had no where to put our luggage, so they moved us to another room with 2 double beds (which is what it said on our reservation) and it was bigger so we stayed in that room for a day. My husband noticed the square footage and said the room was not as big, so we asked again for another room and got moved again. I asked for a fridge as it says on the hotel website that fridges are available but it was a week before they again moved us to another room that had a fridge in it - they do not move the fridges apparently. Keep in mind we were staying for 3 weeks. Also the noise is unbearable if you are not a late night person. We had ear plugs and still was very loud, but not the hotel's fault, it's the location. The food at the restaurant is good and cheap compared to other places. Pool is nice and location was great for access to walk the malecon and beaches, but noise was an issue.

Like proximity on malecon and other direction had smaller restaurants, residences and small apartment rentals. Busy corner with lots of tourists. Two nice beach bars/restaurants beside with public beach or go little ways down other way to quieter beaches. At that end of malecon beach had sand but rock piles you had to walk over to get to water.Water gets deep faster than other end of malecon so got wet but did not explore further out. Only bad issue is our room, not others on our floor, had horrible sewer gas in bathroom had to keep door closed otherwise seeped into room, told front desk on leaving but they didnt really say anything, should have asked to be moved at beginning of week.

    Nice Hotel
It was a nice hotel close to everything you need would like to have ocean view, my nephew was there last year and had a newer room and a ocean view. Just because we don’t see the water where we leave. I read on about questions you are going to ask and it asked if I would recommend Well we were going to stay a few days longer but because of the Coronavirus we decided to cancel the room, but is still going to charge us for not staying, because of this, I will not answer that question. I hope will make a exception to there no cancelation policy’s for what is happening around the world.
