I've spent 30 years traveling for business and stayed in hundreds of hotels. The 2 bedroom Villa suites at Villa La Estancia are the NICEST rooms I've ever stayed in. Period.

Manicured resort with some flaws!
We have been to a Estancaia resort in Nuevo Vallarta and that was superior to this one in Cabo The first three nights were noisy as guests above us moved furniture around .Late returning guests from Cabo were incredibly noisy The bed a king size was hard wirlth terrible pillows!The rooms were large and spacious but definitely not tastefully decorated .A nice welcome gift from Expedia of wine and fruits was delightful.The resort has beautiful gardens and polols. By 4 pm the sun is hidden by the west side building and the pool empties guickly. The food is good but a little overpriced .The last evening was spoiled by a complete idiot flying a drone from the centre building down the gap between the east and west buildings and crashing into a balcony just pass us. Thismost disturbing and is really surprising in a very high-end resort. Overall everything else was satisfactory but we will not be returning would recommend this as a totally peaceful resort.The bellman were all very good!

We have been coming here for 6 years now and have tried other places but continue to find La Estancia quite a bit better than the others. Service and attention to detail are top notch evidenced by the people they have who are some of the best hospitality folks in Cabo.

Beautiful waterfront living
We only stayed in Villa La Estancia one night. We should have stayed the whole trip. I made a mistake and accidentally booked my original hotel reservation one night too short and only realized this once we had landed in Mexico. I booked our last night at La Estancia and immediately realized we should have stayed there the entire trip. The property is spectacular. The location and views are world class. The apartments are tastefully appointed as well. When I booked, I didn't realize that the property is an ownership/hotel hybrid. I'd probably prefer an actual hotel if I'm being picky, but La Estancia is top notch. We will definitely consider the property again.
