    Weekend Away

We had a wonderful weekend away at Harrison Hot Springs. With the current pandemic, the hotel had all the precautionary measures in place to keep everyone safe. Would recommend a stay at this resort.

    Good

The room smells weird I started to sneeze. I have severe allergies. It must be the musty stinky carpet. No microwave. Happy they upgraded us for free. View from the room is amazing.

The customer service was poor. We waited aver 80 minutes to get our room and felt passed over. There were tons of people coming in and getting their rooms before us. They didn’t try to be friendly or apologetic about our wait. And when we expressed disappointment their response was, well lots of people are waiting, defensive. We herd someone else upset about their wait time and they were immediately offered a room discount and another credit. The pools were lovely and they did their best to manage capacity so it wasn’t too crowded and the waits to get into the adult pool passed quickly.

An ok hotel in a great location

Staying at the hotel is the only way to access the hotsprings. Otherwise the hotel is just average considering the cost per night. It’s very clean but even the east tower rooms need some tlc. Our lake view room’s windows were covered with condensation - had to keep wiping the windows to see the lake! Most of the employees I interacted with were quite curt - like I was bothering them to ask for things missing in my room, check out procedures, etc. The pools are not monitored for Covid protocol. Most other hotels now make you sign up for a spot in their pools and have staff monitoring it. Overall it seems like they want to give the appearance of a high end hotel but function like a just ok one. It’s clean, the location is good and the pools are really nice when protocol is followed. Management should consult with Marriott where I stayed a few weeks ago, ocean view, half the price, staff couldn’t have been more pleasant.

The staff are great but the rooms are a bit run down for a resort and the price you pay to stay there . The carpets have stains and there should be towels at the hot spring pools . We had to go back to our rooms for towels . Made no sense

Staff were very friendly but the rooms were not clean. We saw blood stains in our bedsheets. You can tell they didn’t change the beddings. Pool experience was okay.
