Good for a short stay.
The hotel is a bog standard motel, the rooms are clean enough and have everything you could ask for. Not in the nicest area and a little out of the way hence the cheap price. However the shuttle bus that takes you from the hotel to central Manhattan for $4 each way makes up for that (pay the money directly to the driver) Only issue was after asking for the $100 security deposit (which I got back no issues) and proof of ID, in my case passport, they wanted to keep my passport until I left, which I outright refused, even before the days of rampant identity theft I would have refused and at present times no chance in hell. After I refused they changed their mind and I only had to show my passport again in the morning to get the security deposit back, but it did make me question the establishment a bit.

Okay for a night or two
Our window was unlocked and people could enter in our room by the window. Breakfast was very basic with small bagels and philadelphia cheese. We had no other choice to eat like 12 years ago when we first visit N.Y. Cleanliness is good. The staff was kind. You can take a bus from the hotel to NY (3.50$ per person) and you arrive quickly in Manhattan.
