Good overall!
Customer service is always great at Brewsters! You cannot beat the location as it is centrally located downtown, making it extremely walkable. Our room was on the smaller side with 2 queen beds and backed onto the alley. We were on the top floor (3rd), which had nice vaulted ceiling and a mountain view. Some areas were quite dusty but were high up. I put up a birthday banner and balloons, likely the only reason I noticed this. The alley is very loud on Sunday mornings as garbage trucks are picking up garbage. I’d suggest asking for a room on the opposite side of the hotel. The shower is very aggressive, but better than the alternative? Breakfast was okay, enough to fill your stomach for the day. Parking was an additional $18 which is tight, but worth it to be underground. Overall, I’d stay here based on location, customer service, and bed comfort.

Not My Best Stay
The customer service and downtown location were outstanding. I requested a quiet room, was told I was given one, but I wasn’t. Staff did their best but I should have been placed in a quiet(er) room to begin with rather than be given the option to move once settled. Also, housekeeping staff failed to turn off the alarm clock, which went off unexpectedly at 6:00 AM disturbing my family’s much-needed sleep. This should have been checked. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable but the breakfast was mediocre. If you want heated underground parking, I recommend getting there before check-out at 11:00 AM. The underground parking spaces are extremely small and limited. The fee is reasonable at $18 + tax/night. For the price, I don’t think I’ll stay at Brewster Mountain Lodge again.

Great location, love the view.
Our room was on top floor, comes with a balcony with great mountain view. Right in the center of Banff town, close to tons of shops and restaurants. The breakfast and underground parking was very nice too. Had big TV in the room.

8/10 Very good

We enjoyed our visit. Hotel and staff were lovely. The staff actually we exceptional. The bed was a bit firm and the door should be more sound proof. You can hear people in the hall like they’re next to you. They do supply ear plugs though. I’d have no problem staying again. Great location to everything downtown Banff has to offer.

8/10 Very good

Brewster Mountain Lodge is ideally located near Banff Avenue. It used to offer free parking which was a huge bonus - they recently changed it to $18 a day. They have a frequent guest program but rooms booked through a third-party don't qualify. They told me they'll match online offers. Breakfast is included but we typically eat somewhere else to get something more substantial.

A good experience overall
Nice hotel, friendly staff. The only downgrades were the trains running though the night, and a pretty skimpy breakfast option. But overall, it was a good experience.
