    Okay for One Night

Room is overly dated and the Bathtub wouldn’t drain correctly while showering. For a one night stay it was fine though. Sheets and beds were exceptionally clean!

    Don’t do it

I booked this bc my son was playing at cal Ripken. This was the worst hotel I have ever been to. The room was so small and smelled like dirty feet. The sheets on the one bed were dirty. I had to ask for new ones. And to top it off the pool was green. Ugh.

    Very Nice

We had the King suite with the pull out couch. A lot of room for everyone to spread out. They were serving you your breakfast because of covid and the lady couldn’t have been nicer. My boys were playing at Cal Ripken experience and the commute was less then 10 minutes. Definitely will stay again!

    Welcoming and comfortable

It was great for the most part! Check in was smooth. The room looked as it does online. It could have been cleaner. There were crumbs including a chewed nail on the seat of the desk chair. The microwave wasn’t clean, went to heat up water and it was already set with 33 seconds to go. There was a vitamin on the floor and in the shower black hairs on the wall. The bed was comfortable, the couch was good to sit on. Great fitness room. Didn’t use the pool or free breakfast. Found the ice machine!

    Vacation Stay

My stay at the Country Inn, was for a family gathering at the Bar Harbor RV Facility, to meet family and friends for a long extended weekend….I was staying near by, back and forth to the RV site….The hotel staff was courteous, friendly and my room was beautiful and very comfortable…..

The Good and Bad of Country Inn & Suites

Our family of 4 stayed at the Country Inn and Suites for 5 days to attend a baseball camp at Cal Ripken. We had a king one bedroom suite which was big enough for the four of us but the pull-out couch where our children had to sleep had no bedding except for one very dirty pillow at the top of the closet. I had to call down to the desk for the bedding which I had to retrieve - no one was available to bring anything to the room or to make the bed. We ended up having to go to Walmart and buy pillows and a blanket for the kids based on what was provided. The small in-room refridgerator was convenient but there was some left overs in the fridge from the prior occupants of the room which was gross. The room was relatively clean except for a dusty lamp, marks on the wall paper which was falling off the walls in some areas and there were black hairs in the bathtub from prior occupants as well. There isn't enough storage space for clothing for 4 people although the room can sleep 4 people. The bed was comfortable, however, and when we went into the room, it did smell clean. The hallways often smelled like marijuana and there were very odd guests who spoke to my children at the pool with inappropriate comments and also, at the hotel entrance. The pool was clean for the most part but my husband did have to clean it when we arrived the first day. The desk personnel were friendly, however, and I think there are positives about the hotel with room for many improvements.

    Meh…

The hotel was… ok. I booked last minute for a lacrosse tournament and there weren’t many options. Admittedly I’m hotel picky, the husband said it was a nice room (he’s not allowed to book hotels for me). It could have been a lot cleaner, particularly since they state there is extra cleaning due to Covid. When I pulled out the couch bed there were goldfish, fruit loops and countless other crumbs, dust and toys underneath. In the bathroom the switches (high touch surface) were disgusting as well as the wall down from the switches had chunks of toothpaste and other brown dirt smeared down the wall (I cleaned them and the room with wipes I brought) There was a dirty cup and a child’s toy in the bathroom shelf behind the towels. The living room remote was in a nice sanitary bag but the bedroom was not. The pictures online of my room type show a larger mini fridge with freezer but the room had a typical tiny mini fridge. The bathroom is tiny with a huge door that meets the front of the toilet so you have to maneuver to get the door open and closed around you. Furniture in the pool area was extremely worn down. You hear a lot of noise in the hall at night and it was LOUD, we had to go out twice to ask people to stop hanging out in the hall screaming outside our room late at night because they were waking the kids up. The ladies at the front desk and serving breakfast were super nice and helpful. I will look elsewhere for the next tournament, especially for the price.
