Citadines Maine Montparnasse Paris, Paris

We booked two rooms: one apartment and one studio. Excellent location. Great service, so friendly and helpful.

Very happy with my stay there

Very friendly staff. Superb location as it is next to a metro to get you to the busy, hectic central Paris area. Montparnasse is so special .... you can feel the great American personalities and authors of the period .... Hemingway, Fitzgerald, etc., .... I prefer the left bank anyway ... nice pleasant ten minute walk to Luxembourg Gardens (my favorite place in Paris to just sit and absorb the beauty of it all). I do feel badly for Paris in general, you see more poor people on the street than previous years, decades.

My first time here. Convenient. No frills room. Very basic. So basic, it's more like an appartement concept than a hotel. No cleaning done or beds made whilst you are there...unless you request it and you pay for it too. So, make note of this. Upon booking, description mentioned room with bed and table. No table. For the price, a bit of a pity. When I got to my room, around 9:30p, a room 5 doors down started screaming match. I thought it was next door. That went on a good 20min until I had just had it. Then, it finally got quiet. Just not a great way to start the stay after a strenuous day. There is a gym, but as basic as can be. Served its purpose though. Bed, however, was very comfy and a/c was great. Made for good nights, especially on the top floor with 34C (low 90s) temps. That's worth something. Front desk staff was especially nice. Ismaël, one of the employees, could not have been more helpful, along with his colleagues. Otherwise, the price was too high for what I got for it.

stayed in studio apartment - had stove fridge kettle but NO CUPS!!! Also was in disabled room (didn't know til I opened the door) - so as shower was wheelchair accessible, water went everywhere on the floor. Oh well - at least a mop was provided. Wifi was good. Great location for early train.
