The hotel is just ok for the value. It was the staff, and particularly Monique, that made the stay terrible. John is the only one that may give you a smile and he's showed some signs of hospitality, also the girls in the kitchen and housekeeping were kind, but all the rest at the reception were rude, made us feel we were bothering them while we were just making basic questions.
They caused us a major issue and their responses were vane, avoidal and never provided a solution. We purchased parking from the hotel, parked where they indicated us and next morning we had a ticket from the city saying we had no permit to park there. We told the reception about the issue, they said not to worry, they would take care of it. Guess what...? Second day another ticket. Went again to talk with them (which is a hard task, because almost nobody in the reception wants to talk to people) and again, oh, don't worry we will take care of it. Every two days I had to take courage to go to the front desk to try to talk to someone to get mistreated and every time I had to explain everything from zero and the answer was always "we will take care of it". Eight days after, when the check out date arrived, again Monique almost getting upset just because we were asking for a solution. Her solution was none, also her hospitality was none as every time. Really sad how they ruined our holidays.
