    Great Stay!

It was a great stay and we had no issues. Close proximity to everything. Will stay there again!

    Wow, What a Mess!

I realize this hotel and casino have only been open since July but the big kinks should be ironed out by now. Checked into two rooms and the desk person tried to charge me even though I had already paid online. Once we got that ironed out we checked in both of our rooms. Room keys didn't work so I went down to the desk to have them redone. Again, they didn't work. This went on for three times and finally it was determined that the actual lock needed to be redone. We left them to do their thing. Once we came back, the key finally worked and once we got into the room the thermostat had no power. They said they were trying to locate a maintenance guy and would send him up. A while later a twenty year-old kid comes knocking and says he was sent up to tell us that there should be a reset button somewhere that we need to push. There was no luck. I finally figured out it was a button on the plug and once pressed, everything worked. He said their maintenance guy leaves at 6?! Such a big help! Once we got in our room I put the towel on the hook in the bathroom and the whole thing fell off the wall. The door to the bathroom was a barn-type sliding door but it was installed wrong and is an inch or two away from the wall, so there is NO privacy in the bathroom and no lock. Wanted change for the one vending machine and the desk won’t do that. A couple started arguing all night and kept us awake. No compensation offered to us at all for all the issues. Stay elsewhere!

    Perfect Stay

This is a new hotel that opened in July 2021, and you can tell as soon as you walk in, with everything clean and new looking still. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our king room was perfect, with nice touches, including a barn door bathroom door and a black-out shade for the window. The room also had an AC, which is not always easy to find in mountain hotels, so that was a plus! We also visited the casino, which had a variety of gaming options.

    I'm sure service will improve....

The overall stay was good - a cute little town tucked away in the mountains @ 10,0000 elevation. Town closes down early and on Mond/Tuesdays alot of stores/restaurants aren't open. Due to Covid, the hotel industry is experiencing severe staff shortages, which is the exact problem here. Once they are fully staffed, the experience will improve. We plan on visiting again in a year. The room was small but very clean. Wish the casino was attached to the hotel but you walk outside to enter the casino. The road to the hotel would be a bit treacherous in the winter, Overall a good experience.

    Great Staff, Parking Not Convenient

Hotel was beautiful, and the staff were amazing. However with staffing shortages caused our room to not be ready at check-in. And the parking lot is shared with the casino and quite a distance from the hotel.

    Zero customer service

We were driving from out of state and were going to arrive a bit earlier so we called and asked if there was any way for an early check in which they said they had no rooms at the moment so it wouldn’t be possible and to check back with them later to see if anything opened up which is fine we just wanted to know. Got to the hotel at around 3 to check with them and they said they still had no rooms and we can check in at 4 to get our room. We come back at 4:30 and they told us they still had no rooms cleaned in which I asked if there are any other types of room available and who else we could speak to because at this point we should have had a room way past check out time. At this point we were pretty frustrated and asked if they could reach out to the cleaning manager and get a status from her and with an attitude and arms crossed the “manager” refused to help us out and said who knows it could be 10 minutes or another hour without offering some kind of apology or reaching out to the maintenance manager for an update…they then tried to move us away from the lobby and when we didn’t move they finally reached out to the manager and when she came down miraculously they had a room now. Customer service is lacking and one of the ladies there in assumed we spoke Spanish and “tried” making irrelevant conversation in Spanish just because of my friends name. Don’t assume someone’s ethnicity and make a joke of it

1 and only problem was that we requested maid service with the door tag at 9 am with maid carts still in the hallway and it never happened!

I would avoid to stay next time.

It was a nice place to stay but the customer service was not good as i expected. When we walked into the room, TV was on. There was no tissue paper and paper towel in the bathroom. Then i went downstairs to get some utensils and the lady was rude and said they don't have any. But there's was a guys who was really nice and got me one set of utensils and said if i need more then i have to go to some other near by convince store.

New hotel but need to get their act together

Brand new hotel but had some issues. I’m Sympathetic to this hotels issues they’ve faced as they attempted to build this hotel during the pandemic but the poor service by the receptionist desk and the lack of attention to the rooms finishes is going to hurt their reputation. My colleague and I checked in at 6:30pm and one of our rooms wasn’t even ready. The bellhop didn’t even acknowledge us or offer to give us assistance with our luggage and the receptionists seemed to be more interested in having private conversations with each other than checking us in. The hotel is brand new and the rooms are really quite nice but the final finishes by the construction team seem to indicate that they were in a hurry to get the building finished. Little things like poor caulking work in the bathroom, holes in the ceiling where light fixtures and ceiling fans were mounted incorrectly and the electricians or drywaller‘s didn’t patch them. I think it could be could be a pretty good hotel but they need to complete construction finishes and get their staff acting like professionals.

    Working out the kinks

Because this is a new hotel built at the beginning of Covid, some things are not complete, like no parking structure. In bad weather, this is not convenient. The room was clean, new, comfortable. They are working on fixing the TV service. The staff is excellent and helpful. Our main complaint is that we did have our room cleaned for 4 days (short staffed?). It would have been nice to have room service or Continental breakfast but I don't think they have the facilities. You have to cross the street to go to the casino or a restaurant in town. We did enjoy our stay overall.
