Hotel closed for repairs
THE HOTEL WAS CLOSED FOR REPAIRS. I CALLED HOTELS.COM AND THEY ASSURED ME THAT MY RESERVATION WAS SAFE AND CONFIRMED. HOWEVER THE HOTEL WAS CLOSED. THEY SEND US TO THE NEXT DOOR HOTEL BUT IT DIDNT HAVE WHAT WE WERE OFFERED. NO BATHTUB, NO COFFEE IN COMMON AREAS, NO DRAWERS IN THE ROOM, WE HAD TO KEEP OUR CLOTHES IN OUR LUGGAGES FOR A WEEK.

Close to the acropolis. Easy to get. Hard beds
Best western The staff of this hotel is very accommodating and very friendly. They accepted our early check in. We paid about 60 Cad $ per night during our stay. The room was small but convenient, with a safe. The neighbourhood are not amazing, but close to the tourist walk (15 mins to the acropolis). We didn't ear a lot of noise while we were in the room, but the room was not giving to the street. It is also very clean. Cons : the bed is horribly hard. In addition, the air conditioner blows directly in our face. If you don't stay long, this is perfect to visit athens. I would not recommend a longer stay than two nights.

Great stay!
Fantastic service attentive to my needs. Special thanks to John, Vasilis and reception personnel. Next to Omonia Square, next to metro and buses and sites. Ugrade to bathroom would be a plus. Will stay again and will definitely refer.

Not recommendable
When checking in they said may reservation was inly for 2 and not for 3 and wanted me to pay extra. I showed my Hotels .com confirmation where says 3 people but they said it was Expedia who made the reservation. At the end it was Ok and I did not pay. Rooms are ok, beds are old and you feel like you sleeping on a water matres . The area is not nice bur Metro is 100 meters away.

Scary area
As a female solo traveler I did not feel safe when I left the hotel to find some food and to do some exploring. There was construction right outside my window and went late and started early. The beds were not very comfy but the room was big for a solo traveler but if you had 3 people stay there would not be enough room.
