The motel had been updated since my last stay. Was pleasantly surprised. My main complaints was there were no tissues in the room and no towel hooks. There is not housekeeping everyday unless requested which is fine but there needs to be towel hooks for your towels in the meantime. Otherwise we enjoyed our time there.

Interesting hotel
It was a fair hotel for the price. 1) there was a sign in the door from local PD of the office saying to be sure and lock you car for safety. 2) with that being said, when we got to our room the door was wide open. The note in the door stated they will be entering the room to install a panic button????? The was know do not disturb sign, after we were in our room a short time o e if the maids just open the door and just started to enter.

It’s great for a place to sleep
Our stay at the Alamo was pleasant. The front desk is always a wonderful experience. I have previously stayed here and this would be the first time I have stayed on the 3rd floor. I feel like this room or maybe even this floor of the hotel has been forgotten about. Our room was a little more rustic and dated than the rooms I’ve previously stayed in. While we were just there to sleep essentially the room served it’s purpose. I think I’m a previous review I said the beds were hard, and these were still very hard. They made noise when turning or adjusting. But also the lighting in these rooms are very dull/soft. Trying to put on makeup in the bathroom or even anywhere in the room was hard bc the lighting was so bad. Still the proximity to the park is unmatched. A 15 minute walk to downtown Disney is perfect and that’s essentially the perk. I do see the prices of this hotel continue to go up, I hope that money goes into renovations and maybe new mattresses. I do love this hotel so I would love to see more loved put into it.
